Dubbed as one of the “finest live music festivals for enthusiasts” and recognized as among the “top ten songwriter’s festivals you shouldn’t miss,” this three-day event (jointly organized by the Deadwood Chamber & Visitors Bureau and local business leaders) will showcase songwriters who have penned or co-written hits for artists like Keith Urban, Miranda Lambert, Dierks Bentley, Reba McEntire, Linda Ronstadt, Faith Hill, Kenny Chesney, Garth Brooks, and many more.
The festival will offer three days of complimentary “writer’s rounds,” featuring songwriters who are skilled performers in their own right. They will sing the very hits they’ve written and delve into the stories behind the music. These rounds are a fan favorite, mainly due to their intimate settings in various venues across the historic town of Deadwood, where they can enjoy songs that have captivated millions worldwide.
