This year’s Guitar Masters are Joshua Simpson, neoclassical and rock; Dyami Giroux, bass guitar and funk; Tom Frear, blues and soul; and Dylan Lewis, Americana and bluegrass.

Simpson, a musician born and raised in the Black Hills, said he caught the shred guitar bug a decade ago through the work of heavy metal masters such as Randy Rhoads, Yngwie Malmsteen and Brian May.
At this year’s Guitar Masters, Simpson promises a thoroughly entertaining night of shred guitar mastery.
