There is an ongoing blood shortage, and every drop counts at Drops of Life XII! Started by coordinator Joe Burmeister to build the blood supply ahead of the holiday weekend, this blood drive is now a community tradition.
One blood donation can save up to three lives. All blood types are currently needed to help accident victims, new mothers experiencing childbirth complications, and people with cancer and chronic blood disorders.
When hospitals are faced with emergency situations, there’s no time to wait. It’s the blood already on the shelves that saves lives.
