50th Rapid City Flood and Greenway Commemoration

The theme for this year’s observance is ‘Remember, Honor, Commemorate’.  A committee has been working on details for the 50th observance for several months.  The committee’s mission is to reflect and remember one of the worst natural tragedies in our nation’s history and at the same time share how the community’s story of recovery and growth, with an eye to our future.
