The young family band BLUESTEMS from Elgin, ND will host a kids workshop: Introduction to
Bluegrass Music at the festival on Saturday morning from 11 am to 1:00 pm. All kids are invited to come
and learn about the instruments used and learn a bit about playing the music. Kids who already play one
of the instruments will have a chance to form a little band with the other players and learn a song to play
on the main stage. Please bring your own instrument if you have one. Kids with no experience will be
able to see an instrument up close and maybe become interested in learning to play. There will be some
instruments available for hands on if you do not have your own instrument. Kids are free when
accompanied by and adult with wristband.
Other workshops will be offered for Guitar, Banjo, Mandolin, Fiddle, Bass and Vocal Harmony, hosted by
