We’ve all had our bonehead moments, sometimes bonehead moments are worse than others. Well, the Bobby Bones Show opened up and admitted their recent very bonehead moments.
Amy started the vulnerability off by sharing that she had chimney people come out to her house because she heard birds in her chimney. This had happened before so she just assumed the birds were back and building a nest. The professionals came in and said the chimney was all clear. Amy was confused because she kept hearing birds even after they left. Today, she realized the screen saver on her TV has a sound to it, and that sound is birds along with wind blowing and other nature sounds. She was upset with herself because she hired people to come look at it and they were just coming from her TV screen.
For Bobby, his recent bonehead moment involved a food delivery service. He has been trying not to order anything from DoorDash or UberEats. However, the other day he was in a pinch and ordered some soup, salad, and a chocolate chip cookie. Well, when his food arrived it was just a tiny bag. He realized he just received the chocolate chip cookie. When he went back to look at his order, he forget to order the soup and salad. So he paid $17 for one small cookie delivery and he didn’t get to have dinner.
Lunchbox admitted his bonehead moment involved his kid’s birthday party. He called a trampoline park to schedule a birthday party and thought nothing else until February 22nd came. He got a call from the trampoline park and asked if they were still coming for the party because they were 30 minutes late. Lunchbox realized at that moment he booked the wrong date, he apologized on the phone and told them it was meant for next weekend. Thankfully he didn’t get charged any fees and they were able to move the party to the following weekend.
Eddie has been seeing solicitors in his neighborhood all the time lately and he’s been getting very frustrated with it. He was driving home the other day and saw a guy on the street with papers and decided to finally stop them from continue to solicit. He pulls over, rolls down his window, and asks the guy to stop soliciting in the neighborhood because they don’t do that here. That’s when the guy responded that he lives in the neighborhood, but thankfully the guy was really nice about it and agreed with Eddie on the frustration.
Morgan nearly fell for a scam. She got sent something in the mail from “Tennessee government” about her Homeowner’s association and there were fees due immediately. It was $500 and usually it’s $20 per year so she was shocked, but didn’t want to get any late fees so she started going through the process online. But at the last minute, she decided to ask her mom about the form and that’s when her mom googled to find the letter was a total scam. On the letter in very small letters in the corner it read “not an official government document.” She learned it wasn’t necessarily a scam because they are providing a service to “file the report for you,” but it’s costing you money that’s not necessary.
