The Dixie Chicks are returning to the stage.
The iconic country trio will headline the 2018 Mack, Jack & McConaughey Gala this April to raise money for children’s education, health and wellness.
The sixth-annual fundraising event, which was started by actor Matthew McConaughey, country singer Jack Ingram, and ESPN analyst and Texas coaching legend Mack Brown, benefits children’s charities CureDuchenne, Dell Children’s Medical Center, HeartGift, Just Keep Livin Foundation, and the Rise School of Austin.
“It’s always fun to play in Texas and supporting this incredible charity event which empowers kids and saves lives, is an opportunity we are inspired to be a part of,” the Dixie Chicks’ Natalie Maines says.
The MJ&M event, which will be held at Austin City Limits Live April 12 at the Moody Theater in Austin, Texas, is the only show scheduled so far for the Dixie Chicks in 2018.
Mack, Jack & McConaughey has so far raised $7.5 million for children.
