Back in 1925, people made predictions about 2025 and since it’s finally 2025 (crazy right?) Bobby Bones shared them to see if any were correct.
Surprisingly, some of the predictions were totally correct, while others were mostly there, and some were definitely wrong.
- Women will dress logically in one-piece suits
- People will live to 150
- There will be nothing to laugh at
- Food will be delivered by tubes from communal kitchens (half-right, UberEats!)
- Giant planes will fly 50 passengers between London and Paris in only a couple of hours
- Crime will be treated as a disease
- People will be awakened by radio alarm clarks
- Baldness will be almost universal
- San Francisco will be the greatest city in the world
- We will run out of oil
- Smoking will be a thing of the past
- Books will be printed on nickel leaves and will contain 30,000 pages
- Canada will have a population of 100,000,000
- Banking and burglary will be wireless
- There will be a wheat shortage
- Speakers will be able to address the entire world at once and the unification of the human race will be complete
