RAPID CITY'S #1 FOR NEW COUNTRY KICK 104

Cole Swindell Hopes Lauren Alaina Will Invite Him to Her Wedding

Cole Swindell and Dustin Lynch are prepping to hit the road for their Reason To Drink…Another Tour this fall and are bringing Lauren Alaina with them again.
“[Lauren]’s unbelievable. Her personality, her energy and not to mention she’s one of the best singers in country music,” Swindell told PEOPLE during a recent interview. “She was out with us earlier in the year on the first leg of the Reason to Drink Tour … She’s one of the funniest people you’ll ever be around.”
Aside from touring nonstop, the American Idol alum recently got engaged to her longtime boyfriend Alex Hopkins, and Swindell is hoping for an invite.
“Maybe I’ll get invited because it’s going to be a good time,” he admitted. “It’s gonna be a party, I guarantee. It’ll be a wedding but it’s gonna be a party. She’s so fun and she likes to have a good time. But she’s getting married, so hey, she might calm down.”
If he does go, the country star may not be using his +1.
“I’m single but I’ve been in relationships and I’ve been through [the] lyrics of ‘Breakup in the End’ and know what that’s like. There are love songs on [the record], like ‘I’ll Be Your Small Town,’ that I hope when I settle down I can be that for somebody, but right now I’m focused on the album,” he explained, referring to his recently released third record All of It. “It’ll happen when it’s supposed to happen.”
