Danielle Bradbery‘s newest single “Worth It” has a message of empowerment that we all need to hear. It’s also one of her favorite songs from her new album I Don’t Believe We’ve Met. We sat down with Danielle to get the story behind this powerful song.
She said that when she went into the writing room the day the song was written, she had some things on her mind and was able to share that with the writers. What she told them was, “I have a little trouble speaking up for myself. I am a shy person. I’ve gotten a lot better with situations, but there are still some moments where I’ll walk out of a meeting, or personal relationships where I’ll think I wish I would have said that or I wish I could have stood up for myself there.”
The fan response to the song has been tremendous, because it let’s everyone no know that no matter what situation you find yourself in – you are worth it and keep fighting.
