Sign up for the 21st Annual Black Hills Veterans March and Marathon.
The Black Hills Veteran March is a picturesque trek through the mountainous terrain of the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota. This march/marathon pays tribute to the many sacrifices that this nation’s veterans have made in the past and continue to make today.
- To get to Rochford and Dumont Trailheads from Deadwood take 385 South to 256 to 17.
- Full march buses depart from Rodeo grounds at 7:00 a.m.
- Mini-March bus will depart from fairgrounds at 9:15 a.m.
- No registration or packet pickup available on March Day!
Awards
- An awards ceremony will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 21 at the Deadwood Rodeo Grounds.
- Trophies will be awarded to the first place finisher in each category and second place finisher if more than 15 registrants in a category.
- To be included in the awards ceremony, participants must finish by 4:00 p.m.
