Rev it up for Kool Deadwood Nites in Historic Deadwood!
New in 2024 will be an additional day added to the excitement. Beginning Tuesday, August 20, and ending Sunday, August 25, 2024, Kool Deadwood Nites will be action-packed from start to finish.
Kool Deadwood Nites spans a total of six days this year, bringing car lovers together for an event full of classic cars, classic music, and classic fun.
That’s six nights of live, world-class entertainment – and four concert nights are completely free and open to the public.
It’s a true sock hop – Deadwood style. Enjoy the region’s best classic car show, including a parade, show-and-shine, and FREE concerts on Deadwood’s Historic Main Street. Organizers are planning to start the event a day earlier than previous years, on Tuesday, August 20, with classic car registration, activities for car owners, and live entertainment.
THURSDAY, AUGUST 22:
- 8 a.m. – 8 p.m: Car Registration at Deadwood Welcome Center, 501 Main Street
- 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.: Early Car Auction Check-in (for sellers), contact McPherson Auction & Realty at 605-484-1781 or 605-381-1594 for more information.
- 4 – 8 p.m.: Live DJ and games from 4 – 6 p.m. at the History and Information Center Parking Lot
- 10 a.m. – 4 p.m: NEW! Driving Route Poker Runs throughout the Black Hills. Turn in your score cards to registration by 8pm. Awards held on Saturday.
- 4 – 9 p.m: People’s Choice Awards & Voting – History and Information Center Parking Lot, Deadwood Welcome Center Parking Lot and portions of Main Street. Vote by text. Voting opens at 4 p.m. and closes at 9 p.m. on Thursday, August 22, 2024!
- 4 p.m: Memorabilia & Classic Car Auction – Held in the Deadwood Mountain Grand Event Center. Call McPherson Auction at 605-348-1369 for more info.
- 8 p.m. FREE Main Street Concerts – TBD
- Immediately following the concert: People’s Choice Award Results announced from Main Street Stage
